PHA-5124 Program

  • 1st Run Soft Scope (NI-5124) and check the signals you are getting.

  • Note: You can NOT run both “PHA-5124” program and the “Soft Scope” at the same time.
  • Close the Soft Scope program.
  • Now click on the PHA-5124 program to open it.
  • Click on the Control Tab to set the parameters. ( Do not start program yet)
  • Setup the parameters you desire. See Control Tab window picture below.

• If you are going to save your data at this time then;

  • You must set the directory where you are going to save your data before you start the program. Go to Directory and setup a file "directory" to save all the "data", like My Documents “Data”.

• If you are not saving the data at this time then just set the parameters on the control panel.
LLD, Range, Gain, Sample Rate, LT Interval (time in seconds, default set at 600) to save a data file. You want to have many files all each 10 minutes long and then add them up.
Your Range and Gain will be set as per the information from the Soft Scope Program.

  • Now Click the "LabView start button on the top menu" to start the program VI.
  • After starting the program VI switch to the Spectrum Tab and view your results after you Click on the Lower 'RUN' button. If the program does not start click the 'Run' button again.

  • If you stop the program before 600 seconds ends, which is the maximum time per sample you with not save the data and you will receive the following error message.
  • Below see the Error Message if you close the program before it ends normally.

  • Just click OK for the error message
